• Are you insured?

• We carry FULL liability insurance.

• How much is your service call?

• Our service call is $60.00 + taxes, and you get the first hour of labor included. MOST repairs can be completed in the first hour.

• Why do you have to charge a service call?

• Any LEGITIMATE company (or professional) must charge a service call. Although some people think that the service call is our "pay" that is NOT the case. There are many expenses in running a business, including insurances, licenses, gas (and maintenance) for the service truck, office supplies, and advertising. If a company does not charge a service call, one might wonder who is paying their liability insurance (for example) for them!

• What are your hourly rates?

• Our hourly rates are VERY competitive. Since our service call covers the first hour, the first hour of labor is $60 + taxes. Any subsequent labor charges are billed at $60.00 per hour plus parts and taxes.

• Do you offer a Seniors Discount?

• YES, we do! We offer a Seniors Discount of 10% off of the labor. Please note that a Senior Citizen must be at least 65 to qualify!

• What type of services do you perform?

• We will service ANY make and model of Major Appliance. We also install dishwashers, and install gas appliances.

• What is your coverage area?

• Our service area is generally the Windsor / Tecumseh / LaSalle area, but does extend as far as Amherstburg and Belle River. Calls can also be scheduled to areas farther then this though (for a nominal travel fee of .50/km after 35km).

• What are your methods of payment?

• We currently accept cash, or cheques.

• Do you offer any warranty?

• The manufacturer's warranty applies to ALL parts, and the labor is warranted for 30 days.

• Why do you have to be "Certified" now?

• The Ontario Government recently approved legislation that makes Major Appliance Repair and limited registered trade. A technician CANNOT purchase refrigerant in Ontario unless he (or she) successfully completes all 6 modules relating to Major Appliance Servicing.

• I noticed that you are "Licensed by T.S.S.A." What does that mean?

• The T.S.S.A. (Technical Standards & Safety Authority) are the regulatory body regarding Gas Fitters. A company MUST be registered with T.S.S.A. as a contractor in order to run gas lines or perform gas repairs. There is more about T.S.S.A. in the Natural Gas FAQ�s.

• My appliance only acts up on certain days. Should I bother having you come out?

• A service call applies on ANY trip to your house. However, if your machine is going to be stubborn at the time of my visit, your service call payment is warranted for 7 days should the SAME problem re-occur.

• Do I need to bring my appliance to you to fix it?

• NO! Our service includes coming to YOUR house, at YOUR convenience. Any modern appliance is designed to be repaired in the customer's house.
